Outdoor Adventure Ed Field Trip: The Outdoor Adventure Ed Club will be taking a Canoeing, Camping and Fishing trip (you don’t have to fish) down the Wisconsin River September 3rd and 4th. Leaving the morning of September 3rd from the East parking lot at 7:00 a.m. and returning approximately 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 4th. Cost is $80, Permission slips (see Mr. Miceli) and payment are due by tomorrow. There is room for 12 students, if you really want to go – act fast!! (Dusthimer/Miceli 8/29)
Social Studies Trip to Italy and Greece: Are you interested in Ancient Greek and Roman History? Do you want to see the Colosseum, Pompeii, the Acropolis and many other sites of the Greco-Roman World? Would you like to tour the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican? Social Studies is taking a trip to Italy and Greece in the Summer of 2017. Student Athletes - State law that requires that all student athletes view a concussion education video every year. For those that have not watched the video with your team, we will be showing the concussion education video TODAY and TOMORROW (Friday August 26th) in the Studio Theater during the lunch periods. Please plan on attending at the start of 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B or 7A during your study hall period. Student athletes who do not complete this requirement will be pulled from practice/competition starting Monday, August 29th. (McDonald 8/26)

JSA(Junior State Of America)
JSA: Missed our first meeting? Fear naught! We are always open to new members! Come to VHHS JSA’s meeting after school on TUESDAY, August 30th in the IRC. We will be debating whether terrorism can be justified. The definition of terrorism is to use violence and intimidation to achieve political goals, but often times, terrorist groups are trying to escape brutality or form a nation of their own. However, the extreme actions that terrorists takes is deplorable and often ineffective. Are terrorists justified in using this violence to try and achieve their political aims? STRATEGY CLUB: Find yourself wondering what would have happened if you sent your orc army in to attack a round earlier?
