Dress Code Policy: Please remember the school building is a professional learning environment. What you would wear to the beach, should not be what you wear to school. ALL STUDENTS: Due to the IPA Principal’s Recognition Breakfast next Wednesday morning, April 26th, the Athletic locker room by the main entrance will not be accessible until after 8:45 a.m. Also, beginning at 7:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. all students and staff should find an alternative entrance other than the main entrance. Prom Guest Pass Applications are available online or you can pick one up outside the Student Activities office, or in the Main Office and the LST. All Guest Passes are due to your Dean by THIS Friday, April 21st. There will be a $5 Late Fee if it is turned in after that date. (Oliver 4/20)

The Junior Class Student Council is planning the first ever Duck and COVEr Dodgeball Tournament to raise money for our sister school St. Jerome Cove. The tournament will take place on Saturday, April 29th from 1pm-4pm in the Fieldhouse. Grab your friends and form a 6 person team! MSA: MSA would like to invite you to a Vigil for victims of the Syrian and Egyptian conflicts on Wednesday, 4/26 at 4:00 p.m. in Room 1203. Speakers will explain the situations in Syria and Egypt and discuss ways you can help. We will then hold a moment of silence and light some LED “candles” in recognition and support of victims of the Syrian conflict. We hope to see you there. (Szabo 4/26)
April is Autism Awareness month and we are proudly observing it here at VHHS. Did you know that Autism prevalence figures are growing? Currently there is no medical detection or cure for Autism. Just last week, the United States launched Tomahawk missiles against an airbase in Syria. The Trump administration claims it was a response to Syria’s recent use of chemical weapons against civilians, and that the United States had an obligation to deter further use of them. The bombing has received criticism as well as praise from both sides of the aisle. What do you think? (Meister-Louria 4/18)

MSA: MSA would like to invite you to a Vigil for victims of the Syrian and Egyptian conflicts on Wednesday, 4/26 at 4:00 p.m. in Room 1203. Speakers will explain the situations in Syria and Egypt and discuss ways you can help. We will then hold a moment of silence and light some LED “candles” in recognition and support of victims of the Syrian conflict. We hope to see you there. (Szabo 4/26)
